Owner/Veterinarian
Todd Bettin DVM
Dr. Bettin graduated from ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He and his wife have owned and operated Lake View Veterinary Services since 1995. Dr. Bettin has a special interest in orthopedic surgery. In his free time he enjoys hunting, building custom rifles, and spending time with pets and family.

Tasha Bettin-Skaar DVM
Dr. Tasha graduated from ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She worked for our practice throughout her high school, undergraduate, and veterinary schooling before joining the practice full time as an associate veterinarian. She has a special interest dermatology, ophthalmology, and preventative medicine. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, family, and her pets in her free time.

Sami Wenell DVM
Dr. Sami graduated from ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She joined our practice as an associate veterinarian in 2021 and has a special interest in internal medicine. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, running, and spending time with her family.

Chris Bean DVM
Dr. Bean graduated from ISU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. She joined Lake View Veterinary Services in 2020 and has a special interest in dentistry and oral surgery. She enjoys spending time with her family working on 4H projects.

Mary Werkmeister
Mary joined our practice in 2001 and has worked as both a technician and the office manager. She enjoys trail riding in her free time.

Steph began working at our practice in 2022. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her kids outside and working on their 4H projects.

Tricia has worked at Lake View Veterinary Services since 2014. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and taking care of her livestock and pets.

Veterinary Technician
Allison joined the Lake View Veterinary Staff in 2023. She graduated from the vet tech program at Iowa Lakes in 2022. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, Ragbrai and hiking with her dogs.

Kylie began working at Lake View Veterinary Services in 2023. She graduated from Iowa Lakes Vet tech program in 2018. She likes spending time with her family, helping on the farm and running her dog breeding business Farmlife Frenchies.

Shayla started working in vet met in 2010 and joined our practice in 2023. In her free time she enjoys camping and being outdoors with her family and pets.

Brynna joined our practice in 2025. She graduated from Iowa Lakes Vet tech program in 2024. In her free time hse enjoys visiting her mom and dog, spending time with other family and loves her cat more than anything in the world

Tammy began working at our practice in 2018. In her free time she enjoys walking, biking, and spending time with her dog.

Rudy
Rudy was found on the side of the road by Hagge Park in Sac City. She joined the practice in 2025 and couldn't have found a better home! She loves boxes, squeaky toys, balls and her humans!

Kate worked at our practice throughout her high school and undergraduate schooling. She is currently in her 4th year of veterinary school at ISU College of Veterinary Medicine and helps out during breaks. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends.

Morgan has worked at Lake View Veterinary Services since 2020. She is currently in her 3rd year of veterinary school at ISU and helps out when she can. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, horseback riding, and painting.

Lillian Hoffman
Lillian joined our team in 2023. She recently graduated from BVU and started veterinary school this fall. In her free time she likes spending time with friends, kayaking and attending sporting events.

Jaiden joined our practice at the beginning of 2025 while finishing high school. She is now in her first year of undergrad at SDSU with hopes of going to veterinary school.
